How to conserve battery on iPhone?
There are many ways for you to save battery on your iPhone. First, you need to check your iPhone battery usage to know what app drains battery most. Go to Settings> Battery, you will find the battery usage for last 24 hours and last week and the proportion of battery used by each app.
1. Turn on the Low Power Mode
Tap on Settings>Battery, you will find the Low Power Mode button, please turn it on. Also, it will be activated automatically when your iPhone’s battery reaches below 20%. Low Power Mode temporarily reduces power consumption until you can fully charge your iPhone. And you can turn on Battery Percentage button so that you can see the battery percentage in the status bar.
2. Prevent background app refresh
The turning on backup ground App Refresh cannot only slow down your iPhone, but also it can drains your battery fast. So you can turn off some of the background app refresh that you do not use frequently. Go to Settings>General>Background App Refresh, and tap on this option to turn it on.
3. Close the app you do not use
You should always close the app that you do not use from background. The apps that you do not use is still running in background. They keep constantly updating and draining your battery, you have to manually close them if you want to conserve battery. Press the Home button for twice to bring up all the apps running in background. Swipe upward to close them.
4. Lock your iPhone to save battery
When you do not use your iPhone, you should lock the screen. You can set the iPhone to lock screen automatically after you do not use it. Such as you can set iPhone to lock screen I minutes after you do not use it. Go to Settings>General>Auto Lock, then choose the time you need.
5. Disable notification of some apps
The notification sent by third-party software not only will consume your cellular but also will drain your iPhone battery. You can choose to disable them. Go to Settings>Notification, tap on the app which you need to disable notification, and then tap on the the Allow Notification to turn it off.
6. Reduce screen brightness
The brighter your screen, the more power it will consume. You can move the slider to adjust the brightness of your screen to conserve battery.
In addition, you can choose to turn off the WiFi network, the personal hotspot to conserve battery.
