How to find iTunes backup?
To remove your iTunes backup from hard drive, you should locate it on your computer.
Go to system drive, click Users>Administrator>AppData>Roaming>Apple Computer
>MobileSync>backup, you will find the iTunes backup folder, open it you will find many files in it. But you cannot directly read them. If you have emptied the iTunes backup on computer, you will find it is empty.

How to remove the iTunes backup to an external hard drive?
Connect your external hard drive with computer and make sure it has been detected by computer.
Go to the folder that save your iTunes backup and drag or copy it to your external hard drive. Then check it in your external hard drive.
